Vacancies last reviewed 29 August 2026

We are a small team building software for businesses that run in shifts. We hire rarely, and when we do it is usually because something specific needs doing rather than because a headcount plan said so.

No open roles right now

There is nothing we are actively recruiting for at the moment, and we would rather say so than keep a page of aspirational listings open. If that changes, the vacancy is posted on our own job board — we run our hiring on the product we sell, which is a reasonable test of whether it works.

If you think you should be an exception, the section below is genuinely read.

What it is like

Five surfaces, one product. An API, a web app, a clock-in terminal, a mobile app and a marketing site. A change to how permissions work touches most of them. If you like problems that stop at the edge of one codebase, this is not that.
The code explains itself, at length. Our commits and comments say why, not what — including what was tried and did not work. It is unusual, it is deliberate, and it is the main reason somebody can come back to a decision a year later and not undo it by accident.
The details are the job. A clock-in terminal that loses a punch costs somebody their wages. A biometric consent flow that is hard to withdraw from is not consent. A contrast ratio nobody checked is a person who cannot read the button. We care about these more than is strictly comfortable.
Real customers, quickly. What gets built is in front of people who use it to run their week, and they tell us when it is wrong. There is not much distance between a decision and finding out about it.

Getting in touch anyway

If you want to work on this and there is nothing listed, write to us. Tell us what you would want to own and point at something you have built — that is more useful to us than a CV, though send one if you would rather.

We reply to everyone. How we handle what you send is set out in our Privacy Policy.
